that I took of the two pushcarts we filled
with groceries at the supermarket
as giveaways for our clients.
The short phrase sounded too awkward then
and it took me approximately 21 hours —
the time stamp on Facebook indicated it —
to realize my error. “Not for us”
would have been more accurate, so I corrected it.
Thank goodness there are words in this life
that we can edit and mistakes
that we have made that we can unmake.
