“Guerrilla Art Workshop”

Do people normally pose nude
In guerrilla art workshops?

I asked myself this after I walked into
A room and saw a man standing with his

Bare bottom facing the small audience:
The last thing I expected or wanted to see.

He was waving a small Philippine flag
With his right hand and his left hand

Was pressed against his spine
As if his heart was found there

And not inside his chest.
I scanned the room for the friend

Who invited me to this curious event
But she was nowhere to be found.

The National Anthem kept on playing
In the background and the man kept on

Standing there in attention.
If his exhibitionism is art, then

What statement is he making?
If his aim is merely provocation

Then his success is not great
For the onlookers were yawning.
